Question 1

Can I use the QR at booths too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With the stand passport, the attendee’s QR is scanned at each booth and the attendee sees on their phone which booths they visited and which are left. At DevOpsDays Bogotá 2026 it was used with 21 booths, and attendees who completed the route could enter a prize draw.

Question 2

Do I need special hardware for check-in?

Accepted Answer

No. A phone with a camera is enough: your door team scans the QR from the lightweight EVIUS app. If you also want to print labels or badges on site, that's a Mocion badging service and is quoted separately.

Question 3

What if the network goes down at the event?

Accepted Answer

Check-in keeps running in fallback mode: entries are stored on the device and sync once the connection is back. Nobody waits at the door for a signal.

Question 4

Can I check people in by session and not just by event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can record general event entry and, on top of that, entry into each session or room on the agenda. That's how you learn which session filled up and which one emptied out.

Question 5

What do I do with a walk-in?

Accepted Answer

You register them on the spot by scanning the barcode on their ID: they're signed up and checked in within the same step, with no second line.
